Story
In the UK, a child is diagnosed with Retinoblastoma every week. It’s a rare and fast-growing type of cancer that affects babies and children, usually under the age of six. 98% will survive but more than half will lose an eye to stop the cancer spreading.
CHECT, the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust works hard to support children and families affected, and they fund vital research into the prevention and treatment of this cancer. It's a small charity that plays a big part in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.
