Story
**Update**
So the London Marathon has been canceled, although I'll still be running a virtual marathon around Herefordshire on 4th October.
Many people have dug deep into their pockets, and Birmingham Children's Hospital continue to do such fantastic things day in day out, so I'm determined to keep fundraising and to keep on pushing myself.
To that extent, not only will I be taking part in the virtual London Marathon on 4th October, I've also entered a 43 mile Brecon to Cardiff Ultra Marathon in February 2021.
I'm running the *virtual* London Marathon in April!
I'm running to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital as a way of saying thank you for the excellent care that they continue to give Arthur, as many of you will know, Arthur was born with a bilateral cleft lift and palate. He underwent two operations as a baby, and remains under their care with regular check-ups.
Led by Mr Richard, Consultant at BCH, and supported by an extraordinary team of doctors, nurses and medical professionals, the treatment, care and support that they have provided has been exceptional.
At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital.
Your support empowers us to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.
