Story
On Monday May 4th, I am going to be cycling 100 miles non-stop indoors in aid of Hope for Tomorrow - a charity that provides mobile chemotherapy vehicles and services, which are absolutely essential during the current crisis.
Hope for Tomorrow is a charity close to my heart, and one that I have been supporting since I started racing. What the charity does is really unique and special – it innovated the provision of mobile chemotherapy – using vehicles specially converted to Mobile Cancer Care Units by Mercedes, and with dedicated staffing to support the NHS Trusts.
This is absolutely vital at this moment, and they are in desperate need of funding to keep their services operating.
For those who know me know that I love my cycling and for a longtime I have been wanting to tick off my first ‘Century’ (100 miles) so I thought that this would be the perfect time to take up the challenge. It’s not going to be easy, by any means, and will probably involve being on the bike for around 6 hours - but I am up for the challenge, with your support!
I will be doing all my riding on Zwift ,so I would love for people to join in and keep me motivated throughout the ride. I will also be doing live streams so that you can follow my progress.
Many thanks,
Jamie
