Alzheimer's is a progressive and debilitating form of dementia that affects millions. As yet, there is no known cure, or even effective treatment. Alzheimer's Society provides support both for sufferers of Alzheimer's and their relatives, as well as driving research into the disease and potential treatments. It's a great cause that's close to my heart, having had a Grandfather suffer from the disease in the last years of his life.
