Since being elected I have been impressed by the support and activities that the West Norfolk Deaf Association provides to deaf people and those with acquired hearing difficulties to help them lead independent lives. Joining a group session recently to welcome the passing of new British Sign Language legislation and learn a few basics was a particular highlight!
