If you know me then you'll know that I'm not a very athletic or sporting person. In fact I'm quite the opposite. You're probably wondering why I would want to run around Newcastle in shorts and a vest. 

Well I thought it was about time I made an effort to raise some money for a great charity and to try and help make a difference. I have lost a lot of people to cancer over the years and anything that I can do to stop others going through what my family has gone through is worth running a million marathons for, but I'll start with half a marathon for now.
