Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm on the scrounge and hope that you may be able to spare a quid or two to help me out.
As many of you will know I am absolutely scared witless of heights, but I have decided that 2016 is where I am going to challenge myself a bit - so when the chance came up to do the Rotary Climb over the 02 in London, I thought what more iconic building could I get to tackle my fear as well as raise some funds for two great causes.
Half the funds raised will go towards the "End Polio Now" fund which seeks to eradicate the final few percent of this dreadful disease from the face of planet earth. We really are 'this close' and with another final push Polio could very soon be no more.
The other half of the funds will go to "Roll out the Barrell" and ingenious scheme which helps people move water from wells to their homes by filling a device like a lawn-roller, but that can be filled with water - thus making it very easy to move.
I hope you can support me - even just a quid from all my friends and followers would easily help me make my target, helping some great causes. While at the same time allowing me to do something that I never for one moment thought I would.
