6 years ago I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and despite its many hardships, a lot of what keeps me going is the prospect that one day, through research, testing and technological developments, it will become easier and easier to deal with. But all that costs money, money which I would love to help source to aid these developments.

Running a marathon therefore, to me, is not only a fun challenge for my physical health, but an opportunity to contribute to a cause that really matters to me, and I hope you'll help me with this financial contribution through this JustGiving page!

I started training more or less at the start of this year, and in January alone I've ran over 100k in total, so hopefully by May I, and the friends I'm running with, will be able to finish in a time we all, including you, the donators, will be proud of.
