Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

After a couple of races in the last couple of years, it's time for a lap of the London Landmarks in 2020. I haven't asked for sponsorship until now, but I am hoping you might dig deep in support this time around.

The reason for this is that I owe the hospice network big time for their support last year. The legendary GG, my Gran, was cared for amazingly through the final weeks of her hundred years by our local hospice. Then the lovely Sue Brewer, that's Auntie Sue to you and I, was admitted to Sue Ryder St. John's Hospice in December.

Those of you paying attention will know I spend my days telling anyone who'll listen about the compassion and expert care provided by Sue Ryder across the country. The pressure was on for Allison, Tori and their fantastic teams to deliver that support to my friends. This time was personal and I felt that.

However, I need not have worried. It's one thing receiving an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission, which they did in 2019. It's quite another to hear it from your friends.

So by way of thanks to everyone at Sue Ryder St. John's and in memory of two of the most wonderful ladies, please help me raise some money to ensure the next family through their doors receive the same love and support we did.

Thank you.
