Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you all know me and those who have followed me for many years. Charity is and always will be apart of me.

From St Clares Hospice to Age UK to Charlie Cookson Foundation to Beauty with a Purpose and so much more.

For me, charity is about raising awareness for all. Whether that be for the big charities or the small charities.

Each and everyone counts.

For me, this time it's about the Blind Veterans UK. They are there to support anyone who has served in the Armed Forces or who have done National Service, and now living with significant sight loss. They help ex-servicemen and women lead independent and fulfilling lives by supporting them with in-depth expertise and full-range of services. Both physical and emotional.

Alongside this, this year I'll be raising money for Guide Dogs UK having already worked with them in Mr. England bid 2017 I'm here again to help raise money split between these two great causes.

GuideDogs aim to provide people with sight loss with the support they need to be able to move around safely and confidently to get out of their homes and be able to live life the way they choose. More often than not allowing someone to have a companion for life.

So what will I be doing? Good question.

I'll be trekking 100km or 64 miles in a period of 24 hours 1 day over the Yorkshire Dales through a series of check-points by myself. As an individual and not a team or relay. That's nearly three whole Marathons in one day.

.

Sounds good right? Well it's an endurance event out of my comfort zone and well, at least I know I'll have some amazing scenery on my journey come rain or shine, and I'll be pushing through pain for an amazing cause.

.

My Target goal for this event is £300.00 and I have 6 months to raise this in total. So I thought why not let's start now. And get some coin in. I know times are tough, and times are hard. But if you could simply give £1.00 every little help's. Slow and steady we'll reach this amazing target.

.

I'll be BLOGGING my whole journey from start to finish so you won't miss a thing and as always I'll be BLOGGING my journey to the event over the coming months.

.

Well. That's about it. Thank you for your time and any kind donations. By being here on this page it already gives me great hope.

.

Thank you.
