Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Each year i try to raise money for a different charity, and this year is no different. I'm very appreciative for your support in recent years, and hope that you can offer some support, however small for my latest endeavours.

Having run several 10k (6mile) road races in the last few years i have decided to step up to a slightly more gruelling 13.1 mile half marathon, and have set myself a target of completing the course in 1hour and 30 minutes, or as close to that as possible, so will be training hard. Having been given the chance to be a part of The Prostate Cancer charity's team i feel it is my job to do them proud and all of you who choose to donate! Especially on 'home' turf in the North East...

On a more sombre note, prostate cancer kills over 10,000 men a year, with around 35,000 diagnosed per annum. It is something that has affected most of us in some way, but is something that gets very little exposure. I hope to help in my own little way.
