We provide support to improve the lives of young carers

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

On Sunday 6th October 2013 at 1000 hours I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon in order to raise money for the Winchester Young Carers Project.

The Winchester Young Carers Project is an independent charity which provides services for Young Carers aged 8-17 throughout the Winchester District.

They aim to the lives of children and young persons with caring responsibilities by providing safe, quality support to individuals.  They regularly provide opportunities and facilities for young persons to enjoy club evenings, host team games, days out, residential breaks and even just time to relax.

The benefits that the Winchester Young Carers Project brings to the lives of young carers is second to none and, therefore, any donations made will be truly beneficial.

Importantly, any money raised in support will be matched and donated to the Winchester Young Carers Project by Basepoint Winchester.
