Story

I will be running the 2023 London Marathon and I am hoping to raise money for Target Ovarian Cancer Charity. I've chosen this charity because at the start of 2022, my friend Felicity received the terrifying diagnosis of stage 4 ovarian cancer, at 36 years old.

Life for her, Sean and the kids has been turned upside down while she's endured a constant cycle of hospital appointments, treatments and surgery. But she's smashing it, and I'll just need a fraction of the strength she's shown to get me through on marathon day!

Target Ovarian Cancer is the UKs leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide much-needed support to women with ovarian cancer. Were the only charity fighting ovarian cancer on all three of these fronts, across all four nations of the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness and maintain our support services.
