Story
For those of you who know me I did the 10k run last year in record breaking time of 59 minutes. However this year I have been in intense training in Russia with training partner Mr Rocky Balboa aka "Italian Stallion" and am looking to smash this time. This year rather then working on endurance I am working on speed but not just normal speed, "greasy speed" as Mickey would put it, chasing chickens and climbing snow covered mountains.
So joking aside, the Guys at The London Chest do Great work raising money for Stem Cell Therapy, which will revolutionise the treatment for heart disease. So please dig deep and sponsor me all you can, every little helps and please feel free to pass this page onto friends and family. Who knows, the Money you give from your Heart today, May save your Heart Tomorrow!

London Chest Hospital Consultant Cardiologist Dr Anthony Mathur, who is leading this research programme said; “We have already started to treat the first patients in this programme. Once we have completed our studies here at the London Chest Hospital we hope to ensure that this treatment is made available throughout the , so everyone can benefit. This whole venture marks a new era in medicine in which patients’ own cells and not tablets will be used to treat heart conditions. We hope that the lessons we learn from this research will also be useful for patients with other diseases who may well benefit from receiving their own stem cells. Heart disease is one of the ’s biggest killers affecting almost 2.7m people and claims 120,000 lives each year. This treatment could revolutionise the way we treat heart disease and could transform the lives of millions of people - and their families, not only in the UK but around the world”
This is a very exciting time for us all at the London Chest Hospital and I am incredibly proud to be part of such ground -breaking research. You too can be part of this by sponsoring me. Thank you for your support.
