Story
On 3rd July 2014, aged 15, I was crossing the Eastern Road in Portsmouth and was hit by a motorcyclist at 60mph. Two Air Ambulances attended at the scene, and with a Glasgow Coma Score of 3 I was put into an induced coma and taken to Southampton Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. I sustained a broken femur, pelvis and hand plus a traumatic brain injury.
The road to recovery has been long and, at times, very tough. I'm doing A Levels and hope to go to University in September. However, without the Air Ambulance none of this would have been possible, and that is why I'm doing this challenge starting on 3rd July 2017. Compared to what they did for me it's a small thing. Thank you for your support to help this amazing organisation.
