I am currently trying to raise funds for Heartlands Hospital's ward 19, which is a cancer treatment ward. My Grandma has battled cancer and been treated on this ward previously, and still revisits the ward for follow up appointments. She has always spoken highly of the staff on the ward and said that they did a lot to make her feel as comfortable as possible during a very difficult time. She mentioned that it was possible to raise funds for the ward and that any money donated could potentially help to strengthen the quality of both the care provided and the facilities on the ward. Unfortunately, my Grandma was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time, so in order to help those who are continuing to care for my Grandma, and to help those who will be treated on the ward in future, I hope to raise as much as possible for the ward. Any donation no matter how big or small is much appreciated. Cheers.
