Story

My lovely Mum passed away on 08/01/2020 after fighting a tough 2 year battle with PMP (Pseudomixoma Peritonea) cancer. Stephen Prescott passed away from the same cancer which effects 1 in a million people . Further research and better treatment needs to be discovered to prevent others from suffering from this awful disease in the future. My Mum made friends with Stephens wife Linzi in her last few months and she was a great source of strength for my Mum. It is a great honour to be completing this event (cycling from Blackpool tower to Paris Eiffel Tower - 500 mile cycle over 5 days) for The Stephen Prescott Foundation and helping to raise much needed funds. The cycle takes place  between 27/06/20 and 01/07/20.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
