James' Marathon - Supporting Alzheimer's Society

Paris Marathon 2020 · 18 October 2020 ·
On October 17th 2021 I'm attempting to run my second marathon (42.2km/26.2miles) - in Paris, aiming to achieve a sub 02:50:00 time. Not only am I doing this for myself, I am doing this for certain members of my family, including my grandad who is currently battling against dementia.
I am choosing to represent Alzheimer's Society as I have personally been effected by dementia. I needed to raise an initial £1,000 to enable me to attend the race. With the help of everyone who has so kindly donated, we have smashed that target already! This money will fund more vital research to be done in helping scientists to understand this disease and hopefully taking them one step closer to finding a cure.
Whether dementia has somehow effected you personally, whether you're just a very generous earthling or whether you would like to think of me suffering, by making a donation or sharing this I would massively appreciate it! Living in London I know all too well that money can be scarce, so please know that even the smallest of donations help get me closer to my goal.
If you have any questions, get in contact with me and I'll be more than happy to answer them.
THANK YOU!
James
