Ray was a lovely man who seemed ten years younger than his age until his sudden illness and death last year. He's much missed. I wanted to do something for Hospiscare, who took such great care of him in his final days, and who rely largely on donations to support those with terminal illness and their families.

Between April 20th and 28th I'm walking the 113 mile Devon Coast to Coast, from Wembury Beach near Plymouth over Dartmoor and Exmoor to Lynmouth on the Bristol Channel, passing through landscapes that were much loved by Ray.
