Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 5th August I’ll be taking part in the London Triathlon and raising as much as I can for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity
1500m fresh water dockland swim
40km cycle
10km run
I’m raising money for GOSH to help support the amazing work they do for thousands of children each year, but mainly because they have helped my little mate Boris immensely in the past and continue to do so now. In 2011 The Neurology department at GOSH saved Boris’s life when he was 3 months old and to this day he’s still the youngest person in Europe to have the type of surgery he had.
Over the past 4/5 years I’ve got to know Boris and having spent many hours playing and laughing with him I’m personally so grateful for the help he received at GOSH. His smiley little face changes my mood every time I see him, he really is an inspiration
Over 600 kids arrive at GOSH every single day. The extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential
The money raised by the charity at GOSH goes towards:
• Supporting ground breaking research into the development of new treatments
• Funding the most up to date equipment
• Constant refurbishment and rebuilding of the hospital
Any donations will be greatly appreciated, please just donate a quid, donate 5 or maybe 10, whatever you can afford. I really don’t care how small your donation is and nor do the kids receiving this wonderful support, especially my little hero Boris!
Thanks
James
