Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In May 2018, a number of colleagues and I climbed the 4,164 metres of Mount Toubkal in Morocco - the 2nd highest peak in Africa, raising over £5,000 for charity amongst us.
For 2019, I shall be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Elbrus.
Elbrus is a huge dormant volcano in Southern Russia’s Caucasus Mountains. The west summit of this twin-domed peak is Europe’s highest and the fifth highest of the sought-after 7 Summits.
Elbrus is a real step up from Toubkal, requiring us to carry all of our own kit, and involves a brutal summit day of up to 14 hours climbing (With Ice Axes, Crampons, harnesses and sorts of other equipment designed to stop us coming a cropper on the mountain).
You can find out more about the route we will be taking here:

This year I shall be raising money for Makomborero, a charity that supports education for all ages across Zimbabwe. For those of you that don't know, my father spent most of his early life in Zimbabwe (Attending Plumtree School on the border with Botswana), and the country is close to my heart for this reason.
Makomborero is a UK based Charity that helps to relieve poverty through education in Zimbabwe. You can find out more about the work they do here:
