I have chosen Bowel Cancer UK to fundraise for as several members of my family have been diagnosed in the past, including my grandma in my teens and, more recently, my mum. It takes a lot for me to consider climbing a mountain (or three) but if anything can motivate me to finish it’s knowing I’ve supported a cause that is so close to home and could have such an important impact in the future.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They're here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
