We have a team running the Manchester 10k this year, raising money to go towards our intensive care unit garden project.

The garden will be an incredible space that we can take patients and relatives to, away from the ICU in order to have a change of scenery and some fresh air. Being outdoors is well recognised as being beneficial to both mental and physical health and by developing a beautiful space we know it will have a massive impact on patients, their families and indeed staff as well.

Thanks for supporting our team, some who have never run this far before or have but not for a very long time!! We are excited to see the garden spring to life and we thank you for your help in making that happen!
