As you may be aware my girlfriend and sister along with 18 others were involved in a traffic accident in April, in which, sadly Bethany Jones lost her life.

 

The air ambulance from around the country responded to scene with helicopters working simultaneously  , ferrying both girls to hospital and doctors to the scene.  I can say with the utmost sincerity, that had it not been for the prompt response and in such numbers, there would have been many more fatalities.

 

After the event, it came to my knowledge that the Air Ambulance relies purely on donations, as such I feel it is my duty to raise both awareness of this fact and money for this cause.

The girls and families involved are forever indebted to the air ambulance and will never be able to fully repay this debt.

 

 It is with this in mind I write. Myself and 3 others have decided to take part in the Lakeland 50, a 50 mile Ultra Marathon in the lake district on the 27 of July THIS YEAR  with only 6 weeks of Training and seek sponsorship
