Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This time it's as personal as it gets since my dad suffered from cancer and dementia. Thanks to the immeaurable care he received he mercifully died in peace and without pain. He was an absolute inspiration of quiet dignity and humour to me in so many ways.

There's still so much that can be done to push back this blight that seems to affect everyone and Cancer Research deserve all the help they can get to achieve this.

To this end I'll be joining a bunch of other damn fools riding scrap heap budget bikes on one day, June 21st, avoiding motorways. Setting off at dawn the aim is to get to the other end without crashing, breaking down, being run off the road by lunatic farmers, mooned by stag parties or breaking out into hysteria brought on by agonising cramps. All this and more will happen and I'm asking y'all to contribute whatever you can to make it worthwhile.

Massive thanks in advance, cheers, jamess
