Story
2019 wasn't the best year for many reasons but for me personally, my good friend John in July heard the words no one wants to hear. He was diagnosed with bowel cancer. With an early diagnosis and a fantastic surgeon the tumor was removed and so was all signs of cancer.
He was lucky it was caught so early. My intention is to support John and others to raise as much awareness as possible so people know the signs. This along with raising funds for research will help more people to be as lucky as me.
So with that in mind, this September we will take on the challenge of riding the Coast to Coast. Following the 'War of the Roses' route we intend to cover over 170 miles in under 3 days. I would be eternally grateful if you could help support in any way by donating what ever you can to help us raise as much money as possible.
I am supporting Bowel Cancer UK so they can continue with their research and their campaign to improve early diagnosis.
Bowel Cancer Uk are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
