Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Back in 2015 I was 19 stone, my wife took up running and changed her diet to lose weight I decided to follow her lead, She introduced me to Julie Barton since then I have lost 7 stone (gained a little over this Christmas) and haven't looked back from running. Julie has completed 20 challenges this year to raise money for MNDA, to say thank you to Julie and show my appreciation I have decided to raise money for MNDA in memory of her dad Keith Barton...

here is Julies story;

My Dad was 55 a fit man who always kept active. We shared a love of sport and when I played rugby he come to watch me every week. He loved all things sport. When he got MND he went from a strong active Man to helpless! Me my mum and sister had to do everything for him, the one think i am grateful for is that MND didn't take his voice. He could still talk to us but that was it. Within 12 month of him being diagnosed with MND he lost his life. There is no cure no reason why people get it and that's the reason i do all my charity work.
