Well, the end is in site. Tomorrow (Fri) is the last day which means by this time tomorrow I'll have walked the full 186 miles!

Well, I'm on my way. It was a soggy start in Amroth but spirits were high. Only 186 miles to go!

Wow! £125 raised already. What a generous bunch you all are - thank you so much for your support. My training is going well. I've been doing regular walks between Saundersfoot & Tenby along the Coast Path. Like many people I've been very much inspired by Eddie Izzard's efforts for Comic Relief as well as Pembrokeshire's own Rosie Swale Pope too. What I'm doing barely compares to their efforts but I hope that it raises some money for a charity that I very much care about whilst also raising awareness of our incredible Coast Path, here in Pembrokeshire. More updates to follow.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm aiming to raise as much money as I can for 'El Shaddai Charitable Trust'. This is a charity that I have supported for a number of years now. 'El Shaddai' provides food, shelter, medicine, education and general support for street children in Goa. I met the founder of the charity, Anita Edgar, whilst on holiday in Goa in the late 1990's and was inspired by her generosity and passion for supporting vulnerable young people. So, what am I aiming to do to raise money? Well, I've decided to walk the entire length of the 'Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail'. Now, I know what you're thinking - a walk in the Park doesn't sound like a very ambitious goal. Well, let me put this in perspective. The 'Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail' is 186 miles long and takes 2 weeks to walk. In terms of distance, it is the equivalent of walking from Sheffield to London. In addition, it represents approximately 35,000 feet of combined ascent & descent  - about the equivalent of walking up Everest!
