Story
I’m taking part in Football to Amsterdam, a two day, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital.
Riding with ‘Cycle on you Spurs’, we’ll be cycling with supporters of other clubs and putting football rivalries aside to tackle prostate cancer once and for all.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
I lost my Grandad and Great Uncle to prostate cancer and have ridden with friends who have suffered with it terribly and shared their experiences of this awful disease with me. I want to do my bit towards ensuring as few families as possible have to suffer such pain and loss in future.
This won't be the hardest bike ride I've ever done by any stretch of the imagination but, with your help, it could be the most important.
Please do give what you can to make a difference and help save lives.
