Movember is an initiative launched by the Movember Foundation to raise awareness to some of the biggest health issues currently faced by men (and boys): prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

Did you know?

- Globally, on average, 1 man dies by suicide every minute of every day; in the UK, the rate of male suicide is 3 out of 4

- 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime; in the UK, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men.

- Testicular cancer strikes young; in the UK, it is the most common cancer in young men.

This month, to raise money to help support the Movember Foundation’s great work many of our friends and colleagues within Egis UK will “act as walking, talking billboard for men’s heath”!
