Wax for SSAFA

James Mcquade is raising money for SSAFA
In memory of Daniel Mcquade
Since 1885, thanks to the public's support, we continue to provide welfare and wellbeing assistance tailored to our Armed Forces community. We know and understand the unique demands of service life, whether in the UK or overseas, and in times of need, we help to enable the Forces family to thrive.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to read my story

It' is fast approaching a year since my father died and I wanted to do something positive to commemorate the occasion. As most of you know my dad served in the army for over 20 years and when he left SSAFA helped and supported him in many ways. They are a charity that helps veterans and their families both serving and retired. We, as a family, contacted them again to assist with the funeral costs and once again we were given help and support.

Now  to raise awareness and money  I am having a body wax. Back, chest and legs. As many may know this is no mean feat, as I am considerable hairy.

I would like to thank Nicola from the Waxing Station in Stalybridge for supporting me with this.

The wax will take place on the 25th of November. Photos will be uploaded
