Story
First of all I want to thank all of you who have taken the time to visit my page.
Hi, my name is James Mcnamara, I'm 20 years old and am going to be running in the 2011 london marathon on behalf of the RNID charity.
I have chosen to support this charity due to the fact that as a child I lost part of my hearing. I was very lucky to have an operation to regain my full hearing but unfortunatly not everyone can be as lucky as I was. By running for this charity I can help those less fortunate.
The RNID work to make everyday life better for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Their campaigns, information, products, services and support of scientific and technological research are some of the ways they're trying to help. They also support other organisations in their aim to provide better services to their deaf and hard of hearing employees and customers.
Donating through Just giving Is simple and secure. Once you have donated they send the money directly to the charity and make sure gift aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So its very efficient- I raise more and cut cost for the charity.
Please dig deep to help those less fortunate, do something amazing and donate to the RNID charity. Thank you so much for your time.
Many Thanks,
James McNamara
