Update - September 2023

After having to drop out at 39 miles of my Ultra Marathon in the summer due to injury, i feel I still owe some miles

Today I take part in the London Big Half marathon with my best friend Bonnie Jackson

I am again raising money for Annabelle's Challenge Vascular EDS Charity 

Bonnie's daughter Mia has Vascular EDS and the charity works tirelessly for a cure as well as supporting those with the condition and their families.

I know times are tough but a few pounds would go along way if you can. 

I have kept my original fundraising page open while I complete more running events for Mia and Bonnie.

In a few weeks time I will be competing in the Race to the
King 100km Ultramarathon. I will be completing a course of 100km – (63 Miles)
in one day on 17t June 2023.

I’m doing this mental distance to help raise awareness and
funding for Annabelle's Challenge, the leading charity for Vascular
Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (Vascular EDS) in the UK. 

My lifelong friend Bonnie’s beautiful daughter Mia was diagnosed
in August 2021 and workless tirelessly for the charity to raise awareness.

VEDS is a life threatening connective tissue disorder that
effects all tissues, arteries and internal organs making them extremely
fragile. Patients are at risk of sudden arterial or organ rupture.

Having taken up running only 2 years ago I am nervous of the
challenge ahead of me but thinking of Bonnie and Mia will spur me on. Bonnie inspires me every day with complete dedication to her daughter, her condition, and the charity.

With your help I hope to put a smile on both of their faces
