Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been wanting to run an ultra marathon for a while now (yeah, I know I must be barking but, hey, this will save me the bus fare between Tyndrum and Fort William, right? I can donate that to Combat Stress) and I thought since it's not your average, everyday event I might as well try and raise some cash for a good cause while I'm at it. Might stop me from blubbing and giving up!! :o)

"Combat Stress delivers dedicated treatment and support to Ex-Service men and women with conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),  depression and anxiety disorders" They do very worthwhile work and, though we often hear about the tragic fatalities of the Afghanistan conflict, very little is heard about those who who are traumatised by this and other conflicts. As an ex squaddy I felt I would like to do my bit to help out and I'm hoping you will too.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Cheers,

Jim
