Update: We completed the challenge and came 6th overall with all team members completing.

I'm  attempting the CARE 3 Peaks Challange on the 10th September 2011. The challange requires me to climb the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours!

I expect exhaustion, pain and tears followed by bouts of euphoria.

To add to the challenge my final practice walk will be the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, which we will aim to complete inside 12 hours.

ALL money raised will go towards helping disadvantaged people around the world including those affected by natural disasters.

The costs we incurr in taking part in this challenge will be funded by ourselves. All money raised will go directly to Care International.

As part of this challenge we have already completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks ( 21 miles and 4500ft of ascent) in 10 1/2 hours.
