Story

I am running in memory of Thomas (Toti) Worboys who sadly died of leukaemia in 2014 whilst we were both at primary school. Thomas and I both loved sport and we spent hours talking especially about my running and my latest race. Thomas’ death was a huge shock to the school and to the whole community and had a big impact on me. Having turned 18 in January I am running in the 2022 London Marathon to raise as much money as possible for CCLG to make a difference to children like Thomas.

Please contribute to my fundraising to help stop any more children suffering.

Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer and around 1 in 8 children do not survive. Every mile you run for #TeamCCLG will help to fund information and research that enables quicker diagnosis and kinder more effective treatments, shaping a future where every child diagnosed with cancer survives to live happy, healthy and independent lives.
