On Sunday 2nd October I will be running the London Marathon for the first time and am fundraising for the NSPCC .

Having attempted to get a place in the marathon via the ballot for many years, this year I applied for a charity place and was fortunate to get a place running for the NSPCC.

Between 2016 and 2021, the NSPCC has helped to make over 6.6 million children safer from abuse. Your donations helps the NSPCC reach millions of children and young people with their advice, information and service. Every pound that you donate helps to protect children.

Training has been going well so far and hopefully will remain injury free through to the marathon and make it around in a respectable time!
