October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month  I will be running 100 Miles over the month of October to help raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

For me, this hits close to home as my mum is a Breast Cancer survivor who suffered with this illness when I was young. I think that this charity who provides such great research and care to help so many people deserves our help.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women the UK with one woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.

Around 55,000 women and 370 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.

One in seven women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
