Story

Like many, I was fortunate enough to serve under Nick and after leaving the Army we became both work colleagues and good friends.

I enjoyed his company and we had some great times together .

He was passionate about raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund, organising huge occasions like horse racing at Bath, to tin shaking outside Tesco. We were both on the South Somerset ABF committee.

He and Wendy loved walking so the loss of part of his foot was difficult for them both. That said, as late as August last year, just a few months before his untimely loss, we were discussing him completing a sponsored walk.

So in his memory I am completing the South West Coast 50 km Challenge on August 5th, to once again raise funds for the ABF - The Soldiers Charity
