Had a good weekend of training and have a half marathon coming up on the 27th of February. 7 weeks to go until the real thing.
On 17th April I will be hitting the streets of London with thousands of other runners to take part in The London Marathon.
This will be my first marathon and now I am into the training I am very excited, although somewhat nervous about the task ahead.
I will be running in aid of Shelter. Shelter is a UK housing and homelessness charity. Shelter tackles the root causes of bad housing by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies, and more investment, to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people.
Since gaining my Marathon place with Shelter my understanding for their work has grown and I am committed to raising as money and awareness as possible so they can continue with all their great work.
