Story

Many thanks for supporting my efforts. I was all set to run the Paris Marathon in April but due to injury was forced to pull out, luckily the BHF were able to transfer me across to the Berlin race in September, so my training is ongoing and ramping up for the big day.

As you may or may not know, 6 years ago my brilliant brother, father of 3, husband and friend to nearly everyone who knew him, died suddenly from a massive yet preventable heart attack.

John was a fit and active man of 40 and yet was unaware of a life long ailment which went undiagnosed until it was too late. If he, we and others knew about the signs and the symptom's, who knows, he might still be with us today - and god only knows how much I wish he was!

You are helping me to help others avoid the pain, devastation and the huge, ever present, ongoing sense of loss, I and those who knew John feel everyday...........that friends is money well spent!

Thank you very much for your support.

James
