Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and thank you for your donation.

At 10-30am on the 5th of February 2009 my brother John was out and about working, laughing, living life to the full - by 12-30pm he had suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. He left 3 adorable sons and a wife, 2 brothers and an extended family and dear friends, all of who miss him deeply.

The harsh reality is with better awareness and knowledge John could have had a greater understanding of the warning signs that his body would have been giving him and hence received the treatment needed to ensure that he'd still be with us today. Raising money for the British Heart Foundation helps ensure that they can continue with the wonderful work that they do in helping prevent heart disease. It also helps to remind us all of the importance of maintaining a healthy life style and to recognise signs that may mean our heart is in distress, understanding what we should do if we suspect a problem.

By becoming aware and knowledgable of heart disease from causes, symptoms, preventative measures and treatment we can hopefully help ensure that all of our loved ones live long and happy lives.

Thank you very much for your donation, I really really appreciate it. James
