I have chosen the Anthony Nolan charity as Aidan Brunger was going to do the Great North Run for them. Aidan was the son of my best man Paul Brunger. He was tragically murdered recently in Malaysia along with another medical student from Newcastle university. Aidan was a little baby at our wedding 21 years ago, i will always remember this fun photo.

I am doing the 70 mile cycle on 25th September along with many other colleagues from Vodafone as part of the Big Bold Challenge to encourage staff to give something back. I will use my 15 year old hybrid bike so i will be using more energy than required but it will be more satisfying doing it the hard way. Vodafone will match my sponsorship upto £ 300 so this will double whatever you give.
