We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

It's time for me to climb onto the bike again and make a difference for a cause that's really come into focus for me this past year or two.

Dementia has impacted on both sides of our family and it is time to see if I can peddle my way to making a difference for a charity that provides the most amazing support for those that live with this disease and is also trying to champion a cure for the future through research.

Currently there are over 800,000 people with Dementia in the UK and rising - Alzheimer's Society provides information and support for people with all types of dementia, their families and their carers, touching the lives of over 30,000 people every week!

It's slightly terrifying to think that one in three people over 65 will die with dementia and there is no cure!

My goal is to raise £1,000 (£10 per mile) but I can only do this with your support - it would be fantastic if you can spare anything to add to the total & thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and as always for all your support.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
