Fundraising for PROSTATE CANCER UK
Story
Hello everyone,
This year I am raising awareness & money for Prostate Cancer UK, Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and every year over 44,000 men get diagnosed - over 120 men every day!
To raise this money for the charity I will be taking part in the UK Forum All-Stars Weekend which takes place in Cardiff (29th-31st July 2016). An Ice Hockey tournament where games are played in high spirits all in the name of raising money for charities all over the UK. To raise even more money for the charity I will also be taking part in some other fundraising Activities - including Kit & Jersey Sales/Auctions, Leg Waxing and I will also be donating some of my monthly wage in the 5 months leading to the event.
Please give generously as all the money donated will be used to fund research into tests, treatments and discovering the causes of prostate cancer. The money will enable the training of specialist nurses who support men not only through their battle with cancer but after the battle with continued support. Most of all all this will help raise awareness of this terrible illness which claims the life of one man every hour. - More than 10,500 every year..
