Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the London marathon in 2017.I llast ran in 2013 in a time of 3hrs 58 mins.. I've had several attempts since then but each year I've fallen short due to injury before the big day. So far this year, with a lot of help from my wife, an excellent physio & sports massage, I've stayed relatively injury free & feel fit to run!!
Due to my injury history I haven't been able to stick to the recommended training program but have been able to run twice a week, ensuring I at least do a long run at weekends. I've managed a longish run of 15 miles though suffered from calf problems- hopefully not to be repeated!
I've got two more longer runs to do before 'tapering'.
Although in my mind I feel 13 years younger my body doesn't agree!! If I can finish in under 4.5 hrs I'll be delighted.
