Story
My partner Steph and her father Barry have both been diagnosed with Myotonic Dystrophy in the last 2 years. This is a form of Muscular Dystrophy that weakens the muscles, can affect the heart and causes chronic fatigue.
There's currently no known cure and very few forms of medication so they get no help with their symptoms which are getting progressively worse.
It's a genetic condition and it's hereditary meaning there's a 50/50 chance that one or both of our daughters could have it. It's for all these reasons that I've decided to raise money for this amazing charity.
Anything you could spare would be massively appreciated and will go towards helping the research of finding the right medication to help with the condition and hopefully one day a cure.
Thank you in advance for you support 😊
