So back in 2014 I thought it would be fun to do my first Marathon! It was the hardest physical challenge I have ever had to do.
Here I am nearly four years later and thought why the hell not do it again!!!
As you may have remembered I chose to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association. A very close charity to me having lost my Grandad some 24 years ago to this awful disease. I have also had friends and colleagues who have also had the horrible experience of losing a relative to MND.
Here we are a few years down the line and though much research is still being done, there are still no answer as to what causes MND and still no cure.
It doesn’t matter what age, gender or how healthy you are. It can effect anyone. My Grandad was in his sixties, and friends experiences were people in their twenties and thirties.
Any amount you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated.
I am by no means a good or quick runner and the thought of a second marathon fills me with dread but knowing it is for a reason and the money raised will help in making the rest of their lives more comfortable and accessible for both those living with the condition and their family’s makes it also worth it.
Again I appreciate any support you can give.
Much love
