Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

If you know me, you'll know that I'm not built for running and I don't like running... so I thought I'd run the London Marathon!

I am running to raise money for Ataxia UK. Ataxia is the name given to a group of disorders that affect co-ordination, balance and speech. It results from damage to a part of the brain called the cerebellum.

My father-in-law Russell was effected by this condition and he sadly was taken from us in June 2022 leaving behind two daughters and three grandchildren.

Ataxia UK is not very well funded so looking to help research for a cure, people suffering with this condition and their families, as I know first hand how they will be effected as there is little help available due to little funding.

Please help me raise as much money as possible as 1,000's of children and adults need our help!
