Every 20 minutes someone in the UK finds out they have a blood cancer.
Around 1,800 people in the UK in need of a bone marrow transplant every year. This is usually their last chance of survival.
30% of patients will find a donor within their family. But the remaining 70% will rely on a complete stranger to save their lives. Anthony Nolan helps to find those precious matches.
Every day we help three people in need of a transplant by using our register to find donors who have matching tissue types.
